Friends of Liberty:
The content I share on Loyal To Liberty takes a good deal of time and effort to prepare. It's offered in the hope that it will prove helpful to people trying to think through the challenges of faithful citizenship during this time of deep crisis for the republican form of government in the United States.
The site is, as it were, freeware, but of course its maintenance and efforts like the pursuit of the facts about Obama's eligibility eat up a lot of man-hours. Your donation will help me and those who work with me. So please click the button below and help out to whatever extent you can. No amount is too small. When everyone chips in, the 'widow's mite' is mighty. Thank you and Godspeed.
(If you would rather send a check or money order make it out to Alan Keyes and send it to: Alan Keyes, PO Box 83759, Gaithersburg, MD 20883.)
Here is an audio compilation of the
Thoughtlets I post every now and then. I'm making them available as a podcast at
http://loyaltoliberty.podbean.com/. They are also accessible as an audio feed. Visit the site, and spread the word. The little thoughts are now consumable as little soundbites. They could be a great way to introduce
Loyal to Liberty to people you know.

Dr. Keyes,
The phrase "This moral relativism frees the spirit of elitist self-righteousness" would make more sense to me if "frees" was replaced with "unleashes" or another word with a similar connotation. That's unless I've completely misunderstood what you were trying to say.
Pardon me for neglecting to say I think it is a strong column.
ISOLATE!! MEDICATE!! STEAL THE ESTATE!!!
Bring Evelyn Schwartz home for Christmas. She has been abducted by Adult Protective Services, despite being of sound mind and body, despite having a caretaker and a power of attorney. http://www.youtube.com/user/Thefreedomlink#p/u/0/SbJNQarjioU

"I am sore wounded but not slain
I will lay me down and bleed a while
And then rise up to fight again"
A little off-topic, but I'll answer it nonetheless. If you really believe it is a crime, then respond to it as such. If someone invades my home and tries to rob, kidnap, or kill me, I'm not going to post here about it till after dealing with said intruder in some fitting manner.
Anyway, on the subject of self-justification, I am at something of a loss. That it is essentially an exercise in self-deception is clear enough, but the point rather escapes me.
If one is going to be a villain, then why not embrace the role? The rejection of morality's claims may be inevitable to a given person's character, or some may simply choose temptation over virtue. But what is gained by pretending that morality had no claim, or that vice is righteous?
There is no rightousness except that of G-d himself. Self-rightousness is nothing more than the puffed up ego of man thinking himself to be right and believing he has the ability to judge another. One might judge the actions of another but dose not have the right to judge the person that is G-d's job.
I am with you Mr Keyes,
every step of the way. Your faith is true, your love is pure through Christ Jesus, and I enjoy reading your articles blog.
What is it that the people do not see, what is it that they fear?
I say God Bless you Sir and God Bless America.

A thoughtful and well written article. Tiger is also a victim of a degenarating culture that quietly promotes this life style and then comdemn those who are caught. Let us pray that he is given the strength to be a good husband and father through the grace and mercy of God and those who are willing to support him through this difficult period of his life.
I wouldn't call the promotion 'quiet', but there is a certain hypocrisy at work in such cases.
